TripShaker – new traveling app created by Ukrainian developer

Dmitriy Babich, the developer of TripShaker web service, has created a new app as an extension of his service, which is now available in the App Store. With the help of this traveling app, users can view their saved routes in an offline mode and find pathways, which have been created in the web service on their phones. Besides saving the routes on the phone, the app provides a visual plan of the trip along with calculated timing and an available offline weather report for each place marked on the route. Also, an offline mode allows finding shops and cafes near chosen sightseeing destinations. TripShakers displays selected places and landmarks in the “augmented reality” mode, which is designed to look like a compass, and users can see the distance to the destination.
Moreover, Dmitriy has created a browser plugin for Google Chrome, which works similar to Pinterest, but instead of saving pictures, you’re able to save location coordinates. This way you can save the places that you want to visit. Dmitry plans on making this app for Android within a year, but it is difficult to determine a certain date. The creator says that if investors are willing to help with the project it will certainly happen much faster.
